Winery of the Week: AronHill Vineyards<\/h1>\n

\"AronHill<\/a>Judy Aron founded AronHill Vineyards in 1997, and she infuses her passion, drive, and dedication throughout the winery and its wines. An accomplished horsewoman since childhood, her grapes are nurtured with same intention, oversight, and precise attention as she lavishes on her horses.\u00a0Judy says, \u201cMy grapes are like my fillies, chosen from excellent stock and emanating from a substantive lineage.\u201d And she merges her two passions, horses and wine, at the estate and in the name and on the label of every bottle of AronHill wines.<\/p>\n

Part of the Paso Robles AVA, AronHill tasting room is located in the Templeton Gap at the junction of Hwy 46 west and Vineyard Drive. Estate vines grow on a beautiful Templeton hillside, nurtured by Lupe, AronHill’s resident vineyard keeper. Winemaker Mikel Olsten and\u00a0Viticulture Manager Richard Sauret turn these magnificent grapes into award winning wines:\u00a0Estate Cabernet Sauvignon, Estate Quatre Melange, Estate Primitivo , Vinho Doce “Unbridled Passion,” \u00a0and two summer wines: Estate Chardonnay and Estate PrimRose.\u00a0\u00a0AronHill wines are fruit-forward, full bodied and rich in color. Judy says, “Among our award winning wines we have 3 Best of Class vintages to share.”<\/p>\n

“Together we strive for bold, luscious varietals and blends we proudly present as the jewels of AronHill. Expertise and friendship link us with our mission to create the best wines from our Estate grapes. Each bottle we produce is a shared work of art and beauty. We endeavor to make wines that everyone can enjoy and, in sharing them with you, we fulfill the French proverb: ‘In water ones sees one\u2019s own face. Chef Marco prepares lunch with fresh organic and local farm-to-table ingredients\u00a0at AronHill from 11:30 to 4:00 daily, and the tasting room<\/a> is open 11:00-5:00. Dine\u00a0on the deck or in the tasting room by the fire. Check the website <\/a>for holiday hours.<\/p>\n
